Flu and Other 疫苗
疾控中心建议 everyone 6 months and older get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against the potentially serious outcomes of COVID-19 illness this fall and winter. Additionally, it is important to get the 流感疫苗 early every flu season--which runs from late summer/early fall through spring. After getting a 流感疫苗, it takes about two weeks for your body to develop the antibodies to protect you from the seasonal flu.
Most plans cover vaccines as preventative care at 100%, including the Student 健康 Insurance Plan (SHIP) and U of I employee prescription and medical plans. Check with your insurance provider to verify your benefits.
